Prefix™
– Basic EQ
The Prefix provides
active bass, contour (wide range semi-parametric), treble, and
volume controls with a low-battery LED. The contour control
allows you to boost or cut the frequencies you choose. This
flexibility allows you to add brilliance when needed, scoop out
harsh mid-range frequencies, or reduce feedback and unwanted
resonance.

Prefix Plus™ –
Advanced Feedback Fighting Features
The Prefix Plus system
contains all the features of the aforementioned Prefix system,
plus the addition of a brilliance control, a notch filter and a
phase switch for fighting feedback.

Onboard Blender™ – Contains Built-in Microphone
Another first from Fishman – premier sound with
ultimate convenience! This unit actually incorporates its own
mini condenser microphone on the preamp chassis. The pickup and
mic can be blended using all the features of the Prefix Plus
sans the brilliance control. The master volume controls the
blended signal.

Prefix Pro™ – Compact Prefix Plus
Packing a feature set similar to its bigger brother,
the Prefix Plus, the Prefix Pro has a smaller bezel that
occupies 1/3 less space on the guitar. An excellent fit for thin-bodied acoustic-electrics and classical guitars.

Prefix Pro Blend™ – Compact Prefix
Onboard Blender
This miniature preamp shares the same tone shaping
characteristics as the Prefix Onboard Blender. Similar to the
Prefix Pro, it sits in a smaller bezel on the side of a guitar.
An excellent fit for thin-bodied acoustic-electrics and classical
guitars.
